About Long, Clay and Bainbridge
Please sign in to see more.
This site is for the Family Tree of Long, Clay and Bainbridge but of course, there are many strands to any family web. Spinning the web is addictive and I know there are mistakes in my tree which I will try to correct in the fullness of time. If you see anything wrong I would be delighted to hear from you and also if you have any information that is not included and can take the time to pass it on to me, that will be brilliant. Births, marriages and deaths, all gratefully accepted.

All of us who embark on the journey of tracing our family tree know what a labour of love it is and also what a huge addiction it is. As with all of us, I have to deal with other life necessaties and these things sometimes take me away from this task for a while but I will always return to find out and add more.

I want to pay tribute to the people who have helped me find so many of my relatives. ancestors and descendents. To name just a few of these, Annie Singleton (Sparrow) in Australia, Dave Long in Devon, Elizabeth Everson in London, Margaret Ward (Clays) my sister Yvonne in Cyprus and her friend Carolyn. Without these people I would still probably be on 'my generation'. So take a bow one and all.

They say every equine in the world came from one mare and one stalion and of course that must be so with families - I am sure if we could see the complete picture from the Cosmos we would find we are all related to each other, however tenuously, but in the meantime it is wonderful to find those we know we are related to and populate our imaginations with those who have gone before us. Every time I find a new name, relative, or information about someone, I feel as if that person is standing behind me saying 'thank you for finding me'.

Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
